The month has been nothing less than a roller coaster with some ups and downs which you will know further in the blog—now, heading on to starting the ride.
The week started on a higher note as it was a festive week (Ganeshotsav) and apart from that, I had also given an interview in an MNC . A day before Ganesh Chaturthi my selection was confirmed and HR had said she would release the offer letter in a day or two. I was very excited as there was a festival and I had gotten a selection in an MNC. So it was more often like another layer to happiness. The festival started as it is like every year to me there's a Ganesha idol at home (for 2 days ) and in our society (for 10 days). On the 2nd day of festival, I got a call from HR that there was another round of interview (with V.P.) I had given the interview and was confident of getting selected. The same day there was visarjan of my home Ganpati, it went well but there's some bit of sadness as it feels after every visarjan but it gets coped up as there's Idol even in our society. The next day I called up the HR regarding interview and she said its Negative which meant I didn't get selected. I was sad after hearing this cause I was almost selected and was joining the company but life took a U-turn and nothing changed.
I talked to my few friends and it helped me eventually to deal with it. Nonetheless, the festival had still been there enjoyed each day to the core including nighouts, hanging out with friends, winning a chess competition, Aarti's, and many more joyful experiences this festival evokes.
Now moving on to some learnings :
1) Never ever celebrate too early.
2)Try making "Happiness a today thing"
3)Everyone you meet in your life keeps a part of you with them, make sure it's worthy.
4)Pray even on our good days.
Lastly, This year's Ganpati festival felt amazing as it feels like every year but it's just 10 days and the last day (i.e. Visarjan day) feels a little heavy to the heart to everyone cause of so much joy everyone experienced in the past few days and suddenly everything comes to halt. Nonetheless, Bappa teaches us every year that "Every beginning has an end, indeed true"
Thank you for reading till here <3
Bye,
Sam
