Hello Sam here, welcome back!
So this week has been truly a roller coaster with some good and first hand experiences and with some what merely bad phase, but still life's great :)
This week I got my first salary, so that's a big thing for me like earning and becoming self dependent and not relying on anyone. That's what I aimed for and that started this week.
I didn't know to spend or celebrate so I asked my colleagues how they spend their first salary and most colleagues are females (not stereotyping) so they spent their salary by gifting something for their family or friends or relatives. So I didn't disclosed my first salary ,wanted to gift family something and then tell them. But the day after I got my salary, My mom just asked me like have you gotten your salary I was going to nod 'No" but when she asked I just smiled and then she realized that I had received my first salary. Well she was upset I didn't tell her but you know the reason right why I didn't tell her?
Nonetheless, everything went well, she was happy and then I treated her and my sis with some natural ice cream. (Dad was having cold, so he didn't ate)
So now talking about the bad phase, life's never meant to be up so a down fall will always make you realize the essence of life. The bad phase was the environment around me and undermining expectations you have from people who matter to you.(Just a short description cause everybody likes roses but without thorns <)
Shortly describing my learnings from this week :
1)Building social capital will increase your chances of growth in life.
2)Everyone around you is living a life where they approach happiness as a destiny.
3) We need to learn the art of emotional self discipline to understand the importance of emotions your life holds.
So this was all from this week, so now you know why I named it Upside Down.
Also, I haven't yet gifted my mom, dad , sister something so stay tuned for next week to know more and suggest if you have something!
Thank you for reading till here :)
Bye,
Sam
