Hello all, Sam here, welcome back after a very very long time. I know its been very late since my last blog to be more precise its been 7months and gosh time flied like crazy we are half the way and closer to 2025 than we are to 2024.
Anways, lets dive into my past 7 months & as I say this every time it's been nothing less than a roller coaster of ride, let's begin :)
The year started on higher note with I clearing one of my skill level paper of ACCA (FM) which had been long due. There were quite a few weddings which I attended, some of relatives and colleagues, they were fun (but not much as usual)
Travelling to my native places and visiting some religious temples as we do every 2-3 years but due to covid it got delayed and finally this year we went. The holy religious place really had some magical aura when you see millions of people believing and worshiping the divine.
(Whether you believe in god or not doesn't matter it's upto you but at the same time it teaches you something very interesting i.e. The power that belief holds and you feel that aura around you when you see people worshipping the holy divine)
The month of March 2024 will be etched in my memories for lifetime, explaining why...
My Uncle (Mother's brother) had a new born baby-boy. After a long time of marriage, they (my aunt) had a baby and it was so jovial for us and my other relatives/cousins. A new born baby in the family literally united everybody and every one's faces glowing with happiness was some sort of fascination I witnessed ,surely living rent free in my head.
( Whenever you see a new born baby, toddler or a little child, a smile would instantly reflect on your face which by research is due to oxytocii=n being released in your brain but setting aside science for a bit, isn't it magical to see a life growing infront of your eyes with absolute zero knowledge of what's happening around themselves but still having a smile , not to lie but everyone wishes atleast to be a toddler once again :) )
moving on..
My sister graduated and become an MBBS Doctor (Dr.) after five freaking years. Kudos to her! We(My family and few relatives) attended her convocation ceremony and watching her get that degree made me proud (obv) of my sibling but also it reflected me a bundle of memories starting from the day we went to drop her to the hostel far from home, she struggling with hostel food, daily hectic schedule of internships and then finally she coming back to home with that degree.
(Now when we look back, it was a full circle but the amount of hardwork she put being the top scorer in neet in her college, studying everyday without fail and much more which can't be put into words. Honestly, I can say I didn;t have to look outside for inspiration she had always been one for me. Also, not to forget my parent's sacrifice. It really aint easy for a parent to stay away from their child for 5 years and barely having a chat with them once a while they visit. We often take our parents for granted but as they say you realise the importance of something only when it goes away...)
The month of April and May felt like they went quickly with me not having much of time due to work deadlines, literally with staying at office till 12.30 am in the night during peak season. Anwhich ways it was something new and I was very keen to work so didn't affect me much. Thanks to my new office colleagues they were good at helping and coping with me in work.
(New things often feel challenging enough for everybody until you get in the zone and see things from a different perspective. When you actually face them you realise you could do it it was just a mirage in the fear of you being in the desert.)
The half year begins, The month of june had the best ever thing happened to Indian cricket fans i..e India finally wining the much awaited ICC Trophy after 11 long yearsss. Me and my friends had went to a local restaurant cum bar to watch the finale. and gosh we including millions of Indians celebrated like crazyy that day we had truly become one. Owing to the fact that amount of pressure the players had to went through after losing the World cup final at home soil and from there to lifting the world t20 trophy. It was a comeback surely fascinating.
(Imagine yourself in place of them (any cricketer) the amount of pressure they have to deal with each and every time , every match , every tournament. On the contrary it looks easy and do-able but hats off to them for inspiring millions of people to dream and make them believe that dreams do get fulfilled! )
July started on higher note with I clearing another skill level paper of acca and most of my friends/colleagues clearing their CA finals and they becoming CA's.
It was truly delightful to watch them succeed.
That's it from my side in this blog, I know its a quite a long read but if you have made till here by reading entirely <3 or skipping to the last bit, I wish you all plently of success, good health and happiness in your lifetime.
Thank you for reading <3
