Hello again, Sam here!
The week was great started on a higher note but ended on a lower note, well that's how life is sometimes where everything goes steadily and then at horizon the sadness waves in.
This would be a short and sweet blog, happy reading :)
Monday was good I had just came back from the trip last night ,it was an Independence day and this time it was special cause of the 75th year everywhere there were flags whether it be shops, home - balconies it was eye-catchy. The mid week (till Thursday) wasn't much happening it was just normal, but a colleague from office had her last day on Thursday eventually but due to some reason it shifted to Friday. Now comes the Friday, it was amazing as there was Krishna Janmashtami and it was celebrated by breaking the matki's in short Govinda. It was a working day but I took a leave to celebrate and the day went pleasant.
Now comes the weekend, so on Saturday the colleague who was resigning gave a farewell party and we in return gave her gifts. The party was fascinating and everyone in the group enjoyed that day, we even had went to sea-side later that day. Sunday felt like a normal week day. The same day I deactivated my Insta-account cause I was feeling a bit low and sometimes I feel good to be away from social media for few days.
Shortly describing my learnings from this week :
1) Ethics is a long term gain
2)Live without the constant fear of being judged.
3)Don't let ego ruin your attachments, live freely.
I named the blog "Freedom to Farewell" cause the week started with Independence day and ended with Farewell.
Lastly, some few words about the colleague who had her farewell - She was someone who was senior to us in every aspect whether in age or work experience but it was always a friendly relationship in-fact and never colleague like relationship. In a span of few months we had made some extremely happy memories and her farewell was disheartening to us. Office wouldn't be the same without her but still sometimes life's like that you need to learn the art of moving on.
Thank you for reading till here <3
Bye,
Sam.
